Mobile or fixed lifts are used as assistive products to lift and move people and facilitate care.
Lifts assist with patient transfer and repositioning and thus relieve the burden on caring people. There are mobile or wheeled lifts as well as stationary or permanently installed lifts. People can be lifted lying, sitting or standing and moved with the lift.
