Walking frames can be used to compensate for walking insecurities. They offer users more stability than walkers and are also used for walking exercises.
There are few common criteria for walking frames, as the individual products differ greatly and can be individually combined with accessories.
Often the products have a frame with usually four ground contact points - for example two rigid and two swivelling wheels or four swivelling wheels with locking option. There are walking frames with seat, seat pants or seat belt as well as with pads for forearms/armpits or with thoracic rings to support an upright posture.
