During transport, the ramp is locked vertically in front of the rear door, which prevents accidental opening during travel.

Part of the retractors is fixed to the lowered floor. These disappear under the ramp when folded. Other retractors are attached to the inside wall of the vehicle. This allows the person or object to be transported to be secured in the vehicle.
