The mechanically foldable head and backrest is used for extended personal safety. It can be installed in the rear of the vehicle in combination with a rear entrance, but also as a supplement to the personal protection on the driver or passenger side. The head and backrest can be flexibly adjusted to suit the needs and height of the people in the wheelchair. The adjustment is done in a few simple steps.
The headrest can optionally be extended with side guides to support the head laterally while driving and to relieve pressure on the cervical vertebrae when cornering. For self-drivers, it is possible to equip the headrests with integrated controls, for example to operate the most important secondary functions such as indicators, lights, etc.
