Vehicles and vehicle adaptations
Passenger cars, trucks, agricultural vehicles, forklifts, construction equipment, RVs, motorcycles and other vehicles can be adapted to meet the needs and requirements of people with disabilities.
There are adaptations for independent use of vehicles as well as adaptations for taking people with disabilities in vehicles. For example, vehicle adaptations make it easier to get in and out of the vehicle, enable wheelchair access and independent driving. There are also special vehicle seats and seat adaptations for people with mobility impairments.
