Assistive Product Kurbel 101/LM 02 (links) und Kurbel 102/LM 02 (rechts)

Product Type:

Pedal crank shortening

Areas of Application:

  • for people with limited bending function of the knee or limited hip function
  • to reduce the Tretradius

Description:

The cranks 101 and 102 are made of a high-strength metal alloy, as used in aircraft construction, and are therefore extremely light. They are intended for cyclists with a short leg, or a leg that does not have full mobility. Since this crank can be used to adjust the required range of motion, it allows disabled cyclists to use both legs to power a standard bicycle. In the process, the disabled leg is constantly moved in a circular motion and the pedal for the healthy leg is always brought back into pedaling position. In addition, the advantages of the freewheel and the coaster brake can be used normally.

Features / Components:

  • range of motion adjustable by moving the pedal and shifting the support bracket
  • injured leg is constantly moved in a circular motion
  • pedal for healthy leg always brought back into pedaling position
  • normal freewheel and coaster brake
  • available for the left or for the right side
