Electric wheelchairs and scooters
Electrically powered wheelchairs and electric scooters are used for the mobility of people with walking disabilities or reduced walking ability.
Power wheelchairs are suitable for covering medium to longer distances and thus extend the range of action of people with walking disabilities. Power wheelchairs have a high dead weight and there must be satisfactory space for maneuvering. Most models are therefore not well suited for indoor use, but there are also smaller power wheelchairs specifically for indoor use.
