GmbH developed a method for embroidering dots that are tactile, i.e. palpable, for the visually impaired due to a minimum height of 0.4 mm. The method can be used to embroider characters and texts that can be read by blind and visually impaired people. Despite the high embroidery density, the textile fabric is not destroyed during the embroidery process and the Braille script becomes a structural component of the textile. The legibility of embroidered Braille is guaranteed even after frequent washing, drying and ironing. To embroider Braille, you need a computer and the punch software BasePac 8 including the two additional options monogram and Braille. BasePac 8 converts the desired text into Braille and sends the data directly to the ZSK embroidery machine. According to the provider, almost every individual customer request regarding color and position of the embroidery finishing can be realized.
