Description:
MicroGuard is a GSM expansion module that adds alarm notification by call or SMS to existing warning devices.
The smoke detector, which is usually equipped only with a siren, provides the required alarm pulse at the input of MicroGuard. This pulse leads to the alarm call and/or sending of an alarm SMS. The SMS text can be customized by the user.
MicroGuard works with any standard SIEMENS/BenQ GSM cell phone with an integrated modem. The cell phone is permanently powered by the original charger to ensure unlimited functionality. An automatic reactivation of the cell phone guarantees that the functions are ensured even if the cell phone should accidentally switch off.
