The lenses of these magnifiers are equipped with a color-corrected lens system. A glass fiber reinforced polyamide housing protects the precision optics of plastic folding magnifiers, while metal magnifiers have a matt chrome-plated brass housing and a black lacquered metal lens holder. It closes dust-tight (for high technical demands).

The aplanatic precision impact magnifiers consist of two plano-convex glass lenses and produce a sharp-edged, distortion-free image.
