Description:

OrCam Read is a portable device that reads printed or digital text from books, newspapers, signs, instruction leaflets, smartphones and computer screens etc. in real time. It is operated intuitively at the touch of a button and can support people with reading difficulties, including dyslexia and reading fatigue.
Prerequisites are full control over hand movements and some vision (more than 5%).

With the new intelligent reading function, users can use voice commands to operate settings and call up only the information they are looking for (date, word, etc.). The artificial intelligence-based technology makes it possible to find a specific word on a page, read specific dishes on a menu and much more. The OrCam Read works without an internet connection and can therefore be used at any time.

Unlike other devices, OrCam Read reads entire pages instead of individual words.
