The electronic work glove includes a barcode scanner on the back of the hand and follows the natural hand movement. With a press of the thumb on a button attached to the index finger, the person can activate the scanner. The module unit on the glove scans the barcode and provides immediate feedback to the user. This feedback is acoustic, visual and mechanical.
The worker thus has both hands at their disposal. This simplifies and speeds up work processes and reduces physical strain and forced postures.

ProGlove is used in BMW Group plants, for example.
The startup company Workaround GmbH is the winner of the 2016 German Founder's Prize in the Startup category for the business idea of the intelligent work glove ProGlove.
