The DraftsMan is a tactile drawing board that has been specially developed to make lines and shapes tangible by touch. Tactile lines are created by clamping a special drawing sheet and tracing them with a pointed pencil. This enables a haptic exploration of geometric shapes, mathematical concepts or technical drawings. The device particularly supports the development of creativity, fine motor skills and abstract imaginative power.

  • Frame: Robust plastic frame with guide rails on three sides for restraint of a T-ruler
  • Materials: Plastic (frame), special rubber (drawing surface)
  • T-ruler: With tactile markings at 5 cm, 1 cm and 0.5 cm. One side is serrated and even allows measurements in the millimeter range thanks to the ribbing.
  • Accessories: 25 drawing foils (can be reordered), ruler set: T-ruler, two triangles, protractor, compass, pins for restraint of rulers and marking of points, storage case
