Description:
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is used for occupational health and safety. Hearing protection is required at noise exposure levels above 85 dB(A). This poses special challenges for people with hearing aids: Speech and warning signals must remain intelligible, while hearing must be protected.
AS HÖRLUCHS ICP hearing systems are specially developed for noisy workplaces and are approved by the German building authorities. They consist of a hearing aid with a noise workplace program and a tested hearing protection device (HAWEI ICP). The system is both PPE and a medical device (listed in the German Medical Devices Register) and can also be used in private settings.
The ICP hearing systems effectively attenuate noise while allowing voices and warning signals to be clearly audible. Hearing loss is individually compensated, and hearing remains protected. Various models are available depending on your needs – optionally also with Bluetooth connectivity to external communication systems.
