Personal protective equipment (PPE) protects against health risks in the workplace, such as noise. Hearing protection is required at noise exposure levels of 85 dB (A) or higher. Hearing aid wearers, in particular, must continue to hear speech and important signals while protecting their hearing from damage.

AS HÖRLUCHS ICP hearing systems are specifically approved for noisy workplaces. They consist of a hearing aid with a noise workplace program and an approved hearing protection device (HAWEI ICP). The system is both PPE and a medical device that can also be used in private settings.

The ICP hearing systems attenuate noise while allowing the hearing of voices and warning signals. Individual hearing loss is compensated for while protecting the ear. Various models can be adjusted to suit the wearer's hearing impairment, including Bluetooth for connection to communication systems.
