With the DIPAX HeadMouse3D you can control a PC or laptop with head movements and facial gestures (head mouse, HeadMouse). With a gesture you signal the computer whether a mouse click should be triggered or a program should be opened. No additional software is required to perform certain mouse clicks (e.g. double-click or key combinations).

The additional depth information available from the 3D camera also results in much higher accuracy and much greater freedom of movement for the user than with conventional systems using reflector points or webcams. The mouse pointer is moved across the screen with the help of head movements; if the user is not able to make head movements, it is also sufficient to move the mouse pointer to the desired position with alternative facial gestures (e.g. chin movement).

Additionally, this head control can also be used as a joystick or game controller.
