In addition to 40 integrated reading modules, this comfortable Braille display offers an 8-point Braille keyboard for text input. Texts can be stored on the built-in USB stick. This makes the ALVA 640 Comfort a full-fledged note-taking device that can be used without a connection to a computer or smartphone. Smartphones can be connected to the ALVA 640 Comfort via the integrated Bluetooth® module. The battery can be recharged via USB or via USB power supply, allowing the user to work without mains power.
