Output software, screen reader, speech output

High magnifications or reading aloud screen content make texts or graphics accessible to people with visual impairments.

Texts converted to braille can be read by blind people. However, this is only possible in combination with a Braille display. In addition to the texts, the screen reader also converts the controls and other screen elements into braille, while speech synthesizers read the content aloud. A text-to-speech (TTS) system reproduces continuous text using acoustic speech output.

Video systems with electronic image magnification can be found under visual aids.
