FM systems

Radio transmission systems (FM systems) are a supplement to hearing systems (hearing aid, cochlear implant) in order to be able to understand in acoustically difficult hearing situations (in background noise or at a distance).

The person speaking wears a transmitter microphone around their neck, holds it in their hand or places it in the middle of a group, where it picks up speech from all directions. The wireless, digital transmission of the transmitter transmits the speech signal to the receivers of the hearing systems.
