Accessible television

So-called "talking" TVs feature voice guidance or voice control. These functions are usually possible via any TV that is connected via a digital reception path.

Accessible televisions can read out menus, electronic program guides or individual Internet pages and receive audio descriptions. For people with visual impairments, the images and processes on the screen are described. Subtitles and translations into sign language support people with hearing impairment.

TVs can be connected to headphones or paired with separate remote controls .
