People with reduced mobility of the upper limbs or with a sensory disability often need special kitchen utensils and cooking equipment to be able to cook, bake or open bottles independently.

There are aids with tactile markings, voice output or sound signals for blind people. Specially shaped handles or holding devices as well as products with favourable leverage ratios or special products for left-handed people facilitate the processing of food.
