People with limited mobility of the upper limbs or with a sensory disability often need special kitchen utensils and cooking equipment to cook or bake independently or to be able to open bottles.

There are assistive products with tactile markings, voice output or sound signals for blind people. Specially shaped handles or holding devices as well as products with favorable lever ratios or special products for left-handed people facilitate food processing.
