Assistive Product unisonoPLUS Nasenbecher Porzellan, Trinkhilfe 2 Henkel

Product Type:

Porcelain Nose Cup

Areas of Application:

- Eating and Drinking
- Dysphagia
- Drinking Aid
- Can be used as a nose cup or mouth cut-out cup
- For left-handed and right-handed users

Due to its nose cut-out, the cup enables a straight head position. The head does not have to be overstretched backwards - this often leads to swallowing when liquid enters the windpipe.
The two extra-large handles are easy to grip. They are shaped so that they can be grasped with up to four fingers. The mouth can either be placed on the flat rim and the cutout used for the nose. When used the other way around (mouth is attached to the cutout), the user has a high sense of assurance that no drinks can leak at the corners of the mouth. The neckline securely encloses the mouth up to above the corners of the mouth. This is helpful for people with reduced sensitivity around the mouth and lips.
This drinking aid further offers assistance to all people who suffer from swallowing difficulties due to Parkinson's disease, a stroke, multiple sclerosis, tumor diseases, ALS, dementia or due to old age, for example, or who have movement restrictions in the neck and throat area.
Also available in red. This color is best perceived when visually impaired and with age.
