Environmental control systems and remote controls

Environmental control systems enable devices to be operated using alternative controls such as a special button, voice, eyelid or eye movement or a suction/blowing function. The signals are usually transmitted to the respective devices via infrared or radio.

Various devices and installations can be operated remotely at home or on the job, for example heating systems, doors, windows, roller shutters and curtains as well as entertainment electronics and many other devices. Environmental control systems are often integrated into communicators or wheelchair controls. There are also many apps from various providers that can be used to control devices in the environment.
