Environment controls and remote controls

Environment controls enable the operation of devices with the help of alternative controls such as a special button, by voice, eyelid or eye movement or by means of a suction/blow function. The signals are usually transmitted to the respective devices via infrared or radio.

Various devices and installations can be operated by remote control in a domestic or professional environment, for example heating systems, doors, windows, shutters and curtains as well as consumer electronics and many other devices. Environment controls are often integrated into communicators or wheelchair controls. There are also many apps from various providers that can be used to control devices in the environment.
