The company supplies various pressure wave switches. These devices are suitable for converting minimal pressure or vacuum pulses, which users can generate by blowing or sucking with their mouths or by applying low, mechanical pressure to elastic cavities, into electrical switching signals. Inside, a membrane divides the housing into 2 chambers, each with a tube connection. Pressure or vacuum in these chambers moves the diaphragm and closes or opens a contact. A valve opening in each chamber serves to equalize pressure and temperature, but can also be used to influence the response sensitivity of the switch within certain limits. The component is used in suction-blow switches, but also together with tread mats or safety edges. These have the advantage that they operate on site without power and can therefore be used in wet rooms without any problems.
