The base plate of the COSEAT, on which the seating system is mounted, can be moved in almost any direction using four motors Tilting to the side to the right or left makes repositioning easier. Side tilting is possible at any height.

All four axes can also be controlled on request. This stimulation or rocking mode can also be used for pressure ulcer prophylaxis or to relieve cramps. It is also said to serve to stimulate the lower body and muscle tone. In this way, impulses for the bodys own activity and the maintenance or regeneration of important functions should be achieved.

A gyroscopically controlled compensation of the seat angle in relation to the angle of the ground is also possible. As a result, the user sits in the optimal posture he has programmed, even when, for example, he is driving up or down a ramp or the sidewalk slopes down to the side. On particularly steep ramps, this function ensures more safety because the center of gravity is shifted in such a way that it is more secure against tipping.

The COSEAT can be controlled using either two or four buttons and a function display. The COSEAT is compatible with all common wheelchair controls on the market and, if required, can also be combined with a joystick or head control. Often used seating positions can be saved in the menu and then called up.
