Conventional sanding of ceiling and wall surfaces places considerable strain on the neck, shoulders, arms, and back due to working above shoulder height or in a bent-over position. The long-reach sander reduces this strain, but holding the tool can be tiring over time. A guide carriage on which the sander is mounted supports the user in this position.

The mobile workstation is compatible with wall and ceiling sanders of the types GE 7, GE 5 / R, WSE 500, WST 700 VV, and WST 1000 FV. This allows for sustained work without the strain of the machine's weight, reducing fatigue and physical strain.
