Description:

A microtome is a cutting device used to create very thin sections. It is used to produce microscopic preparations, which are to be irradiated later. Microtomes are mainly used for soft materials and materials such as in medicine and biology as well as for the analysis of plastics. The fully automatic rotary microtome facilitates the cutting process.
