Job and training

Occupational aids compensate for physical or mental limitations, promote abilities and protect against damage to health.

This work equipment can be custom-made products suitable for disabilities or commercially available series products. They include a wide range of products such as elevator, transport vehicles, load handling devices, machines or tools. The products should meet ergonomic standards and ensure barrier-free use as far as possible. These requirements are also anchored in the idea of"universal design", a design concept expressly called for by the UN Disability Rights Convention.
