Road drains for surface water are inlets , which are composed of several individual parts. They consist for example of a bottom part, shaft, cone, bearing ring, attachment u. Ä. The bottom of road drainage is usually left with the help of the excavator or wheel loader with slings (for example, chains) down the ditch and set by hand. Depending on the design, the trays have a weight of approx. 70 - 140 kg and are lifted or set up in the trench by hand. The use of staging aids is recommended to avoid any occurring loads due to lifting and carrying.
The built-in components are hanging straight on the lifting gear during transport and setting and do not have to be installed with an unfavorable posture during installation. The use of an offset aid eliminates the manual setting and positioning of the individual parts of the road drainage. This considerably reduces the strain on the spine by working in a stooping posture and by the manual handling of heavy loads.
