Spring balancers make the suspended load weightless. A tool is suspended at the workplace in a device whose load capacity range covers the weight of the tool plus the connecting cable or hose. The spring is then adjusted to the exact total weight using the Allen key supplied. Work equipment and tools hanging from spring balancers can be picked up and put down more quickly. In addition to productivity, this also significantly improves tidiness and cleanliness in the workplace.
When used with spring balancers, the tool is pulled into the respective working position. There is a constant retraction force. Once released, the tool automatically returns to its rest position. In the case of spring balancers with additional locking (models 9346 - 9349), the cable of the spring balancer is gradually locked when the tool is pulled out. Pulling the tool or cable again releases the lock and the tool returns to the rest position.
