SUUM is a multimedia learning software and training software. In six learning modules typical workshop jobs (for example ceramic work, wood workshop, etc.) can be practiced interactively. Learning units alternate with questions. This creates a stimulating learning atmosphere in which people with learning difficulties can simulate and experience interrelationships that would otherwise be hidden or take place over long periods of time. The program can be combined with a support system for job training, for example the Detmold Learning Path Model.

SUUM is aimed at adult people in workshops for people with disabilities, but can also be used in the work stage of schools for mentally handicapped people or in remedial courses.
