Gripping and control devices
Hand magnets, carrying claws, handwheels, ball handles, levers or pedals make it easier to turn, switch, grasp or hold objects when the arm-hand function is restricted.
Operating elements (or controls) must be easily accessible and smooth running when seated. A rough and ribbed surface is advantageous to prevent fingers from slipping. Pushbuttons and rocker keys are often preferred to rotary knobs because they are easier to handle.
