Operating aids and holding aids
Gripping and control devices (also called operating parts, actuators) are used to switch machines, systems and devices on and off, to control and regulate them. Holding and clamping devices fix and position objects within comfortable reach to avoid forced holding.
Operating parts are, for example, levers, knobs, control wheels or pedals. Holding and clamping devices include clamping devices or vises.
