Data privacy statement

Collection and storage of general data

Every hit on our webpages and each file which is downloaded on our website are logged. Storage is done for internal system-related and statistical purposes. The name of the requested file, the date and time of the request, the computer IP address from which the request originated or the accessing computer’s operating system are all logged.

If and when an indirect reference can be made to your person, this information will be deleted after 7 calendar days. Moreover, the data is used anonymously, to further optimise our website in order to benefit users and to ensure their security and stability.

Further personal data is only collected if you provide this information voluntarily, for example, when registering or when a request is made.

Please note: The website uses so called cookies in several places. Cookies are small text files that are filed on the user's computer for later automated identification and are stored by your browser. They can serve to make the entire website more user-friendly, effective and safe and to allow automatic registration on the website. If you have provided us with personal data, we only use it to answer your inquiries, to set up access to protected information services, to execute contracts with you and for technical administration.

Upon request, we will be happy to provide you with written information about your personal stored data in accordance with § 13 para. 7 TMG and § 34 BDSG.

Data security

We would like to point out that complete protection of data transmitted via the Internet can not be guaranteed at the current state of technology. In this regard, please be aware that data and e-mails are generally transmitted unencrypted, we would therefore recommend sending confidential information by post.

Web tracking

This website uses Piwik, open source software for statistical analysis of visitor requests. Piwik uses so-called,"cookies", text files that are stored on your computer, to help to analyse how users use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is stored on the provider's server in Germany. The IP address is anonymised immediately after processing and before storage. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however, we would like to point out that you may then be unable to use all features of this website.
